This is too hard for me. I'm in Australia and we have state elections coming up. I'm giving my voting card to my husband and thanking God for my husband that I don't have to make a decision. I'll be praying for God to give my husband wisdom on what to do with his votes
David was given a choice of 3 judgements from the Lord to choose from after the sin of his census in 1 Chronicles 21. David chose the lesser of 3 judgements and 70000 died of pestilence in Israel on account of his sin. Trump and Harris are both judgements for the sins of America. I, like David, will vote for what i believe will be the more merciful of two judgements.
David actually didn't choose. He said, "I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the Lord; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man." (1 Chron 21:13) That may exclude one of the three choices, but is not choosing one. That said, we can agree that both choices would be a judgment on our land.

We've done other episodes on voting , but this episode isn't really about that. It's about whether the church preaches to the Republican Party as if it has embraced death with both hands. There's a real difference between this is the evil I would prefer and accepting it as the only good available.

I've voted since 1984. I have voted for someone who I do not like or respect every single time. I vote Republican because there is no other choice.
